Taylor kicked off this blog by telling everyone about the giants we have nominated for Best of the Web. I would like to say congratulations to all three of them. I’d also like to insist that if you are a writer with guts, a talent for creating beautiful or disturbing things and some time you should read our latest issue then send us your most mind bending fictions.
We have great things planned for the future, so stick around.

And what better way to kick off a brand new blog than an announcement of our three nominations for Dzanc Books’ Best of the Web 2010?!?
I immediately knew which three pieces I would choose and when I asked Nate to hit me back with the three he would select, guess which three he also chose?
No arguing necessary. No debating. No back and forth. We were in sync. Like the band.

These three pieces all hit me pretty hard from the first time I read them and stuck with me ever since. I’m very proud that they were part of our re-launch issue.
